Bookkeeper (with a path to grow!)

Compensation and Perks:

Starting Pay: $17.00/hour with a clear and transparent matrix to fast-track you to the top hourly rate of $22.00/hour.

Benefits: 

• One extra week of paid vacation annually, sick time, and bonuses.

Hours: Start with 25–30 hours per week, with flexibility for more hours as our workload and your availability allow.

About You:

• You have some experience with full-cycle bookkeeping or a mix of relevant education and experience (we value both!).
• You value integrity and enjoy building meaningful, professional relationships with clients.
• You’re driven by making an impact—whether it’s supporting clients, improving processes, or contributing to your team.
• You thrive in a learning environment and enjoy transforming unorganized paperwork into a beautifully balanced masterpiece.
• Experience or interest in preparing personal income tax returns is a bonus (but not required).

The Role:

• Process clients' monthly source documents, including posting journal entries, completing bank reconciliations, and compiling missing documentation lists.
• Communicate with clients to address questions and clarify needs (good communication is key!).
• Work across various industries using multiple bookkeeping software platforms—your days will be anything but boring!
• Perform general office duties: answering phones, scanning, filing, coordinating paperwork pickups with clients, and keeping our office space welcoming and tidy.
• This is a permanent role, with long-term stability and growth for the right candidate.
